In Wake of Cockfighting Bust, Roosters Euthanized
(Transcription of a speech Sergeant Johnson gave at the Amherst Common)
Hello everyone, thanks for coming out today. I only have one bit of news to share, and it is regarding the roosters seized from Ravenwold Greenhouses. As scheduled, ahead of schedule actually, the last of them have been euthanized. This program was specifically designed for roosters with no hope for rehabilitation, and with humanitarianism in mind.
I’m sorry, folks, but that is all I have to share today. And, I do appreciate the large crowd, but I unfortunately cannot take any questions. Good day, everyone. I will be on my way now.
